2019 Coaching Appointments, New Recruits and Pre-Season Training

We are pleased to confirm the following Coaching Appointments:

Seniors: David Madigan - 2017 Knox Premiership Coach. 2019 will be Dave's 5th year as coach of the Knox Football Club. Dave is a coach with a wealth of experience and success with stints at Box Hill hawks in various senior roles, and a distinguished career at De La Salle in the A Grade VAFA. Always highly professional and well respected.

Development Squad: Luke Fulton-Tindal - 2018 saw Luke as U19s Coach in the VAFA for the University Blues. In his 8 years as a coach he has coached 4 grand finals at 4 different clubs and won 2 premiership flags. He has also redeveloped the Under 19 program at University Blues taking them from 1 win in 2016 to 7 and then 11 & 1/2 wins in the two years with them.

Luke works in Dandenong South and lives in Wantirna and was looking for a coaching position close to home. Luke is keen to be involved with a community club where he will be able to help develop the players to achieve success whilst also being able to develop his coaching skills.

We welcome Luke to the Knox Football Club and feel that he will be a great asset for our club.

U19s: Pierre Schumann - Pierre's football career consisted of 230 senior games with Boronia and 33 with Knox. He was Knox Reserves Coach 1999 - 2001, winning 2 Premierships and Knox U/18s Coach 2005 – 2010, securing 4 Premierships during that time. He is a Life Member and has devoted many years to the club both as a committee member and as part of the Football Department. Pierre is a well respected and admired member of the Knox Football Club and will be a great addition to our coaching staff.
